Toyota Launches The 2021 Camry with 17 Models

Toyota has launched the 2021 model for the best-selling sedan, the Camry. The Camry marks its 37th anniversary.

New designs and improved safety

The 2021 Camry redesigned the LE and XLE comfort models, and differentiated the characters between the SE and XSE sport models.

The newly XSE Hybrid combines the most efficient powertrain in Camry history with a high level of sports performance and luxury.

In addition, the lower intake area has been designed to stand out even more, and the gasoline model of the LE now features 17-inch alloy wheels, while the XLE features 18-inch alloy wheels.

The Blueprint body color has been changed to Blue Streak Metallic, and the XSE is now available with a two-tone roof combination of Supersonic Red and Midnight Black Metallic.

All Camry models are now equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 (TSS 2.5) for the first time on a Toyota vehicle.

As for enhanced safety systems, Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/ PD) not only detects the vehicle ahead, but also the bicyclist ahead when daylight and the pedestrian ahead in even low-light conditions.

Moreover, the system detects oncoming vehicles and pedestrians when entering an intersection, and depending on the situation, it provides audible and visual warnings with activating brakes automatically when needed.

Other safety features include Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA) that stabilizes the steering wheel in driving lanes while avoiding pedestrians, bicycles and vehicles ahead.

Automatic High Beams (AHB), which automatically switches between high and low beam headlights when it detects a vehicle ahead or oncoming traffic, is also included as a safety feature.

Inside, a new 7-inch or 9-inch floating multimedia screen is standard on all grades. For the XLE model, technology and luxury have been further enhanced with the adoption of a herringbone seat pattern.
