Cars produced with few units
●Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita
In 2006, the Swedish supercar brand Koenigsegg released a special model of the CCX called the CCXR Trevita. The car features a carbon-fiber body with a special coating technology that made carbon-fiber possible to be painted with glossy silvery white. Because of its bodywork sparkle in the sunlight like diamonds, the car is also known as a “diamond with tires”.
Originally, three units were planned to be produced but due to manufacturing difficulties, only two were produced at a price of $4.8 million. American professional boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. was once known as the owner of this car but seems to have sold it at an auction.
●Lamborghini Veneno
Lamborghini has created numerous limited models in the past and the Veneno, a special model for commemorating the 50th anniversary of the company, is one of them. Only five units were produced based on the Aventador and were sold to three customers for $4 million per unit.
The name “Veneno” stands for “poison” in Spanish and was also the name for the bull that killed historic Spanish bullfighter José Sánchez Rodríguez. As the name implies, the car is characterized by its arrow-like front design and aggressive rear design that intimidates other cars passing by. One of the three units produced seems to be owned by Birdman, who also used to own a Maybach Exelero mentioned above.
