Every year in January, Tokyo hosts the Tokyo Auto Salon, one of the largest custom car shows in Japan. But this year in 2021, the event was cancelled due to COVID-19, and was switched to an online event.

This off-road Z was supposed to be displayed in the Yokohama Tire booth at Tokyo Auto Salon 2021.

A normal 370Z has a body size of 4260 mm x 1845 mm x 1315 mm (167.7 in x 72.6 in x 51.7 in), and a ground clearance of 120 mm (4.72 inches).

The 370Z comes with a 3.7-liter V6 engine with a maximum output of 336 hp, and is selectable between 7-speed automatic or 6-speed manual. This 370Z has a 7-speed automatic.

The car was built to promote the company’s “GEOLANDAR” off-road tire series. The tires used are the GEOLANDAR M/T G003, which are designed for users who want to enjoy off-roading with good durability and wear resistance.

In addition, the 370Z was not simply fitted with GEOLANDAR tires, but also with the ADVAN Racing RC III wheels which is also developed by Yokohama.

To house the bigger tires, wider fender arches were fitted on both front and rear.

The car is fitted with under covers made by JAOS, a company that produces a wide variety of off-road parts, and LED fog lights are installed on the front and rear to ensure visibility when driving on rough roads.

Stock suspensions were replaced with off-road springs made by King Springs, which raises the ride height significantly compared to stock.

BRIDE seats and HKS exhaust installed on this 370Z to retain the original sports car element of the car.

There’s also a plastic ramp attached on the top of the rear trunk to use in case the car gets stuck.
