●Tesla Cybertruck

Tesla, an American electric car manufacturer, is planning to sell a new EV called the Cyber Truck. Its appearance as a triangular ruler with tires that would look right at home in the Super Nintendo game “Star Fox” has caused a huge controversy among crunchy car lovers.

Even the Lotus Esprit and Lamborghini Countach, which are synonymous with wedge-shaped bodies, look round when placed next to the Cybertruck, a bold style that deviates from the history of automobile design.

The truck’s body structure is also unique, with stainless steel alloy body panels reminiscent of the DeLorean, and bulletproof windows. In a demonstration at the unveiling, the glass broke easily for some reason, which became a meme on the internet, for better or worse.

Three models are announced for the Cybertruck, with the base model having a range of 250 miles and 0-60 acceleration under 6.5 seconds. A top model with tri-motor AWD is capable of cruising more than 500 miles while doing its 0-60 in under 2.9 seconds.

Production is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2021, with the price starting from $39,900 to $79,900.
